Gel Plate Printing Workshop

In this 4-session virtual workshop, you’ll explore the world of gelli-plate printing! There are SO MANY ways to create beautiful and unexpected prints, textures, and patterns with the gel plate. Almost every print is a surprise and an opportunity to exercise your, ”what if I try ____?” muscle.

And the best part? The workshop comes with ALL the supplies you need to explore a bunch of textures & techniques!

You’ll explore how to print with: 

  • Acrylic paints
  • Liquid inks
  • Transparent colors
  • Alcohol inks
  • Watercolors

 

And get curious with techniques including: 

  • Basic layers
  • Color blending
  • Adding textures
  • Creating depth
  • Building layers
  • Reusing supplies
  • Working with liquids
  • Extending techniques with found objects

 

Workshops are each Saturday at 10am beginning March 27th. So, that’s the 27th of March, then the 3rd, 10th, & 17th of April. The workshop will be recorded so if you can’t attend in real time, you can watch later.
